Achmad Nur Hidayat's Profile

Achmad Nur Hidayat ST MPP (born, November 24, 1981 Age 28 years) is the executive secretary of the Center for Indonesian Youth Movement and the Assistant Manager of Community and Alumni Strategic PPSDMS NF (2009-2010).


Hidayat, colleagues call him, once worked as a national advocacy advisor to the organization's market traders APPSI (2004-2006). In addition, He had also become researchers of the central Indonesian Youth Movement on topic decentralization government in Depok city, West Java (2005) and DKI Jakarta (2006).


In 2007 he awarded a scholarship from the Lee Kuan Yew School Scholarship for his Master of Public Policy at School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. The policy research of his dissertation was "Fiscal Stimulus 2009 in Indonesia: Tax Rebate or Infrastructure Spending" and He obtained an engineering degree from the Faculty Engineering, University of Indonesia in 2005. As UI student, he awarded scholarship of Japan Airlines Foundation for his undergraduate education.


During his lecture at the University of Indonesia (UI) he was actively mobilized students and became President of Student Executive Board BEM UI in 2003. Hidayat was trusted as the 2nd Chairman of Student board Organization (OSIS) in the country's favorite school in Jakarta.


After graduating from college, Hidayat joined American Companies that associate in the Tyco Group. Hidayat received the Certification of Foreign Anticorruption Practice in 2006 as his commitment to good governance in running International Business.


Hidayat joined exchange program during his study in NUS, Singapore. In fall semester of 2008, he went to Beijing, China to participate in Master International Development Program of School Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China (2008). His peer students named Hidayat as The True Man of Asia due to his eager to learn and visit in Asian region such as China (2008), Malaysia (2007) and Japan (2009).


During his Master program in Singapore and China, Hidayat participated actively in cultural exchanges activities and trusted as The Chief of Foreign Student Affairs in the Association of International Culture Exchange or AICE (2009).


In 2009, Hidayat was asked by National University of Singapore for presenting his paper-research of Fiscal Stimulus Policy at the University of Tokyo, Japan.


Hidayat is now coordinator of community leadership of LENTERA-20 that such community objective is preparing future leaders of Indonesia.
